Product manager, AI
Squid AI helps enterprises modernize in place without disruption by building secure, private AI agents with their own data without requiring them to be experts in AI. We bring the latest serverless and AI technologies to organizations and their data, removing their need to go through a decade-long path of cloud and data migration before getting to AI adoption. Our platform seamlessly connects with any LLM, API or database to build scalable, secure AI agents and AI applications with ease and at a fraction of the costs it would take enterprises to do it on their own.Key responsibilities:
- We're looking for a strong individual contributor to join as a product manager on our team. This person will have an outsized impact on the success of Squid by helping us to craft our roadmap of AI agents and web and mobile AI applications.
- Listen to customers and users and build trust to help them navigate the fear, organizational and change management that naturally comes along with adopting a new technology.
- Represent and communicate Squid, AI agents, AI applications, and our thought leadership to prospects, customers, and users, including at events.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in startup environments
- A deep understanding of the latest AI technology and best practices (RAG, chunking, embedding, data, benchmarking, feedback loops)
- A track record of working with Global 2000 enterprise companies
- A background in developing SaaS, infrastructure, and/or platforms
- Prior dev/coding experience (even if you don’t do it actively today)
- Recognition that building AI products isn’t just about using cool technology but about being compassionate and meeting customers where they are.
- You’re an exceptional external and internal communicator (crucial for our remote-friendly team) and can confidently present to a C-level audience
- You’re unorthodox, creative, even contrarian, but also have great judgment
- You love working in a team and know how to create something amazing by working closely with engineers, design, marketing, and sales
- You excel at getting things done but are also curious and love to learn. You take feedback well and always think about how your work fits into a bigger picture
- You have a deep interest in applying AI to real-world problems that solve real customer pain points
- You know how to laugh at things, not take yourself too seriously and always keep a sense of humor and perspective!
